Vernon Bara is a well-known Belgian producer, DJ, and label manager who started his musical journey in 1999. He gained popularity in the Belgian house music scene through his collaboration with Massimo Dacosta, and together they formed the prolific duo “Vernon & Dacosta” in 2002. They released tracks on prominent labels like OM and Robsoul. Vernon also started his side project “Lust Addict” in 2006, which was more techno-focused, and gained support from renowned artists such as Ricardo Villalobos, Luciano, and Laurent Garnier. He later released tracks under the name “Vernon” on Readymade (Lessizmore) and received remixes from Shaun Reeves, Lee Curtiss, and other talented producers. In 2011, Vernon and Massimo Dacosta founded the label “Homecoming Music,” featuring compilations and releases from producers like DJ Sneak and Phil Weeks. After the Ultrasone project, Vernon and Massimo Dacosta formed “Raw District” and released tracks on major labels like Innervisions, Defected, and Crosstown Rebels. Raw District became one of the most active Belgian projects in the electronic music scene. With over two decades of experience, Vernon has played in some of the biggest clubs and festivals worldwide, including Fabric in London, Tomorrow Land, Watergate and DC10 in Ibiza ton âme a few.
